How could I stop the tears? We have not heard yet from with him or the officers, although we were told we would be hearing from them by now. His last irises were picked and offered to the Blessed Virgin Mary with prayers for her to hold him in her loving hands. Snapdragons are coming inside as we need to encourage the little plants to branch out and produce plenty of new flowers for the wedding! And the gladiolas he planted are now peeking from the ground--they will bloom once he comes home for a visit--which I am unfortunately not certain will happen yet.
